I just downloaded the Orkney font, imported my SVGs via folder import, saved, and exported. The issue was on Ubuntu and Windows. But also opening my old font and exporting...

I just tested the font with QML and FontForge, QML showed other Symbols from standard Font and FontForge showed empty glyphs. But i can test it for u with html.

Ok HTML is working always, but i can reproduce the issue with QML. Maybe not that important for now :-) Thanks for your help!
