zim-zotero-plugin not working under Linux Mint

Open arn13 opened this issue 6 years ago • 2 comments

Hi, I have Zotero 5.0.55 installed with the zotxt 5.0.2 addon. When I try to insert a citation on something that is definitely in my library nothing happens. I was able insert a citation shortly after installing the plugin a month ago, my guess would be incompatibility caused by an update or something. Any ideas for troubleshooting? Greetings Arn

Thanks @DrArn for reporting the issue. Can you provide a few details about your setup? E.g.:

  • Your Zotero version
  • Your Zim version
  • Your zotxt plugin version
  • Your Python and Linux Mint version
  • Any clues as to which update caused the problem

My versions are as follows: Zotero 5.0.55 zotxt 5.0.2 Python 2.7.15rc1 Zim 0.68-rc1 Linux Mint 19 Cinnamon Kernel 4.15.0-34-generic

If I remember correctly I switched to that kernel recently, also there must have been some softwareupdates, but not to Zim or Zotero. The other thing I did was changing from zotero servers to a webdav.
