While the script is not so big, you could make all the language constructs in a single language_file? And make it a plug-in separately? Each time bit hard to translate each file with every update. (( Site Template files can be skipped. Please.

The way shimmie currently is setup this would be quite a pain to do.

That said, I do agree that it should be done.
