The installation is for the original JKDF2 game.
It works differently from OpenJKDF2, since the installation files are separated using episode/ and its own folder (dbztdir/) and these are installed this way:
JK/dbztdir/
--- character.gob (part of the COG source code is inside this file)
--- tdircharacter.gob
--- tdircontrol.gob (part of the COG source code is inside this file)
--- tdirmiscfiles.gob
--- DBZLauncher.exe (this is some kind of a short link to open the game with the mod, but acts like an executable program. When opening this .exe, you need to open the player directory and select some character model in the list of this program and when pressing start will run the JK.EXE. This program also calls character.gob to load, if character.gob isn't in, the program fails and stops)
(I don't know why these DLL and OCX files are here and moreover it doesn't seem like part of the mod. So, ignore them why these are here. I checked without them and it didn't affect the program and in-game)
--- ASYCFILT.DLL
--- COMCAT.DLL
--- MSVBVM60.DLL
--- OLEAUT32.DLL
--- OLEPRO32.DLL
--- VB6STKIT.DLL
--- COMDLG32.OCX
JK/Episode/
--- tdirlevel.gob
JK/Resource/
(I don't know why these files are copied and moved here from the extraction, but these look unused)
--- JK_.CD
--- res2.gob.tdir
That's what I checked what every .GOB file of this mod does:
dbztdir/character.gob: used to load the list of characters.dbztdir/tdircontrol.gob: used for in-game logic, audio, sounds, control, menu names, messages, ...dbztdir/tdircharacter.gob: pack of character models.dbztdir/tdirmiscfiles.gob: used for the menu and HUD.Episode/tdirlevel.gob: pack of maps.

Installation:

If you have a different version of TDiR installed, please
make sure that it is disabled before continuing! If the files
exist, OVERWRITE THEM!
Extract the contents of the zip into it's own folder.
Make a new folder under your JK Directory called: dbztdir
Move all the files except tdirlevel.gob, JK_.CD, & res2.gob.tdir into JK\dbztdir
Move tdirlevel.gob into JK\Episode
Move JK_.CD & res2.gob.tdir to JK\Resource
Run JK\dbztdir\DBZLauncher.exe to get started.
******************************************************************
YOU MUST HAVE A FULL INSTALLATION OF JK FOR TDIR TO WORK PROPERLY!
******************************************************************
***************************************************
BEFORE RUNNING THE LAUNCHER, PLEASE INSURE THAT THE
JK CD IS NOT IN ANY CD DRIVE! IF THE JK CD IS IN A
CD DRIVE, TDiR WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY!
***************************************************
*******************************************
IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME INSTALLING TDIR:
*******************************************
Make sure you press the Select Player button first when you run the launcher!!!!
Browse to JK\Players\PlayerName and click OK
You may then proceed to pick a character and customize it.
If there are any problems, please report them on the forums here:

Thanks for downloading, and have fun!
Why am I trying to play this mod?
Because I want to tweak some curious experiments on it, there are many things that didn't come to light.
~~Until now, I installed on original Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 game, but it isn't showing well the colors, looks like a broken color palette or very ugly:~~
~~Recorded video is usually full-screen, but the record made fit into 640x480 putting the box on the up-left corner:~~
~~https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/7f8aaeb2-f6d2-4126-8622-2f36a8cfc8e5~~
~~I don't know how to fix that, I tried to enable 3d acceleration, but it keeps crashing/cannot open the game.~~ Nevermind, fixed thanks to this guide: https://steamcommunity.com/app/32380/discussions/0/141136086922096696/ dgVoodoo and their components are required to play this mod on original JKDF2, if you're using Windows 10 or higher follow this guide link ☝
I started using OpenJKDF2 to test that, I didn't get there though... I tried to install this mod on OpenJKDF2, but I don't know how to.
