Player footsteps incorrectly panning between left and right speakers
Not sure whether this is a vanilla bug.
Easy to reproduce, right at the beginning of "Descent into the Valley":
- Ensure you're in 3rd person view
- Step off the elevator and into the first room
- Strafe across the room (without changing your bearing)
- Now, do the same but turn your character
- You will notice that regardless of facing direction, the footsteps will consistently pan between left and right speakers as you strafe across the room.
This behaviour seems to depend on one's location in the room. Only occurs in 3rd person view. I had heard this phenomena in other areas of the game, but hadn't noticed it so blatantly until this room.
I can confirm this issue. It seems to reset on my end when changing footstep materials (the two metal trap doors in the room)
