C++ build files not working in Ubuntu 18.04 and 19

Hey buddy! First of all thanks for your help. I read your answer at quora and hence I am here. I am new to ubuntu and I found out that the linux build file isn't working in Ubuntu, so I found a code that helped. Please verify!
