Cannot login on Ubuntu Desktop

The problem

I logged in my github account and callbacked to github desktop, but github desktop kept on signing in and eventually timed out.

On: Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS

Release version

3.4.9, 3.4.13

Operating system

Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. login github in browser
  2. click 'sign in to github' in github desktop
  3. auth
  4. found that desktop cannot login
