Sign in through browser does not work on pop_os

The problem

I've tried both Firefox and Brave browser on pop_os but was not able to login it to GitHub desktop app through both Firefox and brave browser. I've logged in to GitHub on both browsers but when "You are being redirected to the authorized application.", this comes nothing happens. I even tried manually clicking "If your browser does not redirect you back, please visit [this setup page] to continue.", this but still same result.

Also cancel button on GitHub Desktop app does not work during sign in, but cross button does.

Note: my browser has "GNOME shell integration" plugin installed.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. Login to GitHub on Firefox or Brave browser.
2. Go to GitHub desktop app. Click File > options.. > Accounts > Sign into GitHub.com > Continue with browser.
3. On browser click Continue [nothing happens]
4. Also click [this setup page], but nothing happens.
