Is this project maintained?

Noticed no answers on issues in a few months so asking for clarity!

Hi Zac,

that's a fair question. The plugin was designed with the goal to be "done" at some point, intentionally having a small (but useful) scope. While I was trying to answer questions reasonably soon and fix urgent problems quickly (like when google-java-format or Gradle broke its API again), I must say that I haven't actively been using this plugin (and Gradle in general) for quite a long time. The motivation to work on this in my free time and integrate new Gradle features or switch to different APIs when they are deprecated is therefore small.

As long as I don't start using Gradle and this plugin again myself, it's maybe better for everybody to state that no, this project is not maintained. :sob:

Got it, thank you for the answer!

So, how to continue? Looks like aecio is currently working on the project. Can he get the necessary rights to maintain the project? Or does it make sense to continue on a different fork? Anyhow - sherter thanks a lot for the work so far!

You can try using https://github.com/diffplug/spotless to format and check your project using google-java-format rules
