Create a clear value button

Please, create a deleteButton (crossButton) on the right of the Multiselect which clears the value to the empty string and clears the v-model of the multiselect

This would be very valuable. Some users are confused how to clear the value by having to scroll down through the list to find the selected value (highlighted red) and to click on it. An X icon next to the value to clear it would make the component more usable.

2023 is here but still no sign of this useful feature. Some PRs for that are waiting since years (https://github.com/shentao/vue-multiselect/pull/1348)

This project isn't dead - we're working on some releases at the moment, including one that has just been released. Feel free to check out the plan ahead here: https://github.com/shentao/vue-multiselect/discussions/1589

In terms of this feature, we can look at adding this in a future version, but currently we are focused on getting the latest version working with Vue 3.
