Mono Support Broken in 2.3
Mono support is broken in 2.3. Latest version of SSH.net appears to have issues in Mono. This was necessary for the Pageant Support. Hoping to address these issue eventually, but in the meantime, Linux users should roll back to 2.2
If anyone is an Mono expert or wants to help with this issue, I'd appreciate it.
Hello. I'm an user of the original sftpsync, considering migrating to this maintained fork. Is 2.4 also affected by the current issue?
This is still an issue (or at least I have not yet figured out a work-around, though the breaking changes around Pageant support will be addressed in a later release whenever SFTP.net incorporates an open merge request, but they have thus far been unwilling or unable to do that). However version 2.2 of this extension is fully functional for all features that should be relevant to Linux users, so I recommend using it for the time being.
Got it, thanks!
is this still a problem?
As far as I know. I have not checked recently. I will try to make time to do that again, soonish, but always happy to have someone else take the lead.
@shellster Is there a workaround for suppressing this update check message?

If not - can you explain the risks of staying on the older sftpsync compared to your fork? Or is it actually not too bad?
I don't think I can suppress the update alert, sadly. That said, the main security risks are all around using older versions of SSH.NET. I don't think there have been any serious security vulnerabilities reported there, but I do know that only very recent versions support more modern ciphers/keys.

I can't find this merge request, could you link to it?
