[Bug] Cheat mode won’t give enchanted books

What happened?

When I click on potions to cheat them, it works fine. Clicking on enchanted books does nothing though.

It’s really frustrating and I can’t find any info about this online. Is there a way to fix this?

+1, same problem on [NeoForge 1.21(.1)] v16.0.799. It worth noting that this is not working using GIVE mode. When I set cheat mode to GRAB, it works fine. Using GIVE is critical for me, so I hope this will be fixed asap, please!

Neither the “Grab” or “Give” cheat modes work. There seems to be no way to grant myself enchanted books.Actually using the /give console command does work though, so it’s 100% an issue with the mod. (The reason I’m not just using /give is because I can’t copy/paste in Steam Deck “game mode” and the commands for enchanted anything are absurdly long.)I’m glad you are at least able to use cheat mode at all, even if it’s not the way you prefer.On May 7, 2025, at 5:28 PM, Roman Malyi @.***> wrote: rumrunner0 left a comment (shedaniel/RoughlyEnoughItems#1879) +1, same problem on [NeoForge 1.21(.1)] v16.0.799.
