Optimal light placement for 1.18-1.19+
Hi,
Since in Minecraft 1.18 Caves and Cliffs Part 2 update, mobs will not spawn in light level 0, I can place torches 28 blocks apart. First torch will cover the first 14 blocks and the 2nd, placed 28 blocks away, will cover the other 14 blocks. In between the two torches, we'll have two blocks with light level of 1.
I want to be able to have LightOverlay show me the position of the 2nd torch, so it'll be the optimal torch placement while conserving torches, especially in early game.
Can this be achieved using the existing 1.19.2 version or perhaps be added as a feature if not?
Considering the yellow Xs still appear at 7 in a place like this, which will not spawn a mob despite the mod page saying it will at night (if I was at the right distance) in the 1.20 version:
I doubt it.
