Possible to add something like "--cancel-action"?

Would it be possible to add the ability to run a different action were a user to click the "cancel" button? Or is there just a limitation set by Apple on that where the cancel button can only close the notification?

It would be useful for tasks that don't have strict yes/no responses. For example, something like an alert for software updates could be a "yes, do it now" or "yes, but not now".
