Can the TOC be auto updated with the current preview position, also an an adjustable toc width ?

For a long document, knowing where is the current position is very beneficial, I guess what the title suggests is doable by some adjustment of current package given the fact that the preview is itself auto updated with the scrolling position of the markdown file.
