Packal GUI not available

I have Packal Updater workflow installed on my Alfred 3 installation. When I type the packal command and go to the GUI option, I get the following message:

GUI Not Available'

Not sure how I can get the GUI to work. I am on Mac 10.11.6. Thank you.

doesn't work on 10.12. Is there a reason to have an upper limit for the versions it runs on? thinking a lower bound only might reduce maintenance effort.

adding 10.12 to the version check enables the gui to work, but thinking that changing the version check to a lowerbound only check is a better solution.

Isn't it a little ironic that the Package manager that is supposed to update all the packages is not updating itself? Also on Packal. www.packal.org there is a version built in 2014? Pretty ancient I would say.

Would love to see this updated in all the places 💪.
