rhel init script stop function does not work

We start the process as /usr/bin/graphios, then try to kill graphios.py. The process shows up like this:

nagios 6138 6137 0 15:25 pts/0 00:00:00 /usr/bin/python -tt /usr/bin/graphios

So obviously this doesn't work.
