Are you still doing this or something better?
👋
Thanks for this resource
Are you still doing this: if yes then is there a reason you haven't updated the repo in a while; if no then something better?
Hope to hear back
Sincerely
Hi!
Since I switched to UnRAID for my home server which has problems with docker-compose and networking, I switched to using compose files with Portainer. While one can use my docker-templates with Portainer, the usage is kind of inconvenient so I currently stick to using the normal Stacks in Portainer. I also find it more comfortable to just make small changes with the web editor in Portainer.
So to answer your question, I'm not actively maintaining this repository right now and while I personally like Portainer Stacks I wouldn't say it is objectively better than doing it in the CLI with docker-compose. Just for me personally it's more convenient to use Portainer.
But the idea behind this repo was to provide a method for people to maintain their compose files in a standardized way which you can still do nonetheless and not to provide a maintained catalog.
