VJoy cannot pick up my Joycon inputs at all

As the title says, the software is not able to pick up any inputs at all no matter what I do. I've followed all of the steps provided in the various guides online, but VJoy Monitor doesn't show that the inputs are being picked up at all. I know it's not an issue with my Joycons or a connection problem because other software like Antimicro and XJoy are able to capture my Joycons' inputs perfectly, and VJoy is the only software that doesn't detect any inputs at all. I've tried it on both my Windows 8.1 and my Windows 10 laptops, and it couldn't detect my inputs on either computer. Anyone knows how to fix this?
