Being able to change logic gate in edit component window

Lets say i have this circuit here and I'm trying to figure out a large problem where i need to try many different options. It would be cool to be able to click on a logic gate and simply change that logic gate with another one via the right click edit window. A drop down menu there with the current available logic gates .

Something like this but with the logic gates.

And when it switches to the new logic gate also the current length and numbers of inputs are kept.

What do you think?
