Stellaris issues again
This game has rough patches when I try to use it with Minigalaxy.
I get "Stellaris-0.bin was corrupted. Please download it again." in Terminal over and over.
Should I just download it through GOG proper like you have said before?
Thanks for the report. We're working on an update that should resolve this issue. Hopefully we'll be able release it soon.
@NonMeme The release is out. Could you retest with Minigalaxy 1.4.0?
Can you release it as a package for distribution, or should I manually install it?
We only have packages for Debian/Ubuntu and Flatpak. Otherwise you'll have to ask the person who maintains the Minigalaxy package for your distribution.
I get this issue.
error: End-of-centdir-64 signature not where expected (prepended bytes?) (attempting to process anyway) warning [/home/USERNAME/.cache/minigalaxy/download/Stellaris/stellaris_4_0_21_82931.sh]: 653053 extra bytes at beginning or within zipfile (attempting to process anyway)
EDIT: However, beyond this, it works perfectly, complete with multiple fast downloads at once.
That error you see is a bit of a quirk that comes with how linux games are packaged. They are basically directly attaching the game's zip to the installer sh script file (which is the linux variant of the guided windows installer ui). Minigalaxy skips the sh script and unpacks the game directly which leads to the unzipper complaining about the sh source text in front of the actual zip payload.
It's good to see that the download and install works.
I'll close this one as it has been confirmed to work. Thanks for the reply!
