Gothic 2: Gold Edition Wine extraction failed

I am trying to install G2, but this error keeps appearing.

Is there any way to launch Minigalaxy in debug mode? I Could not find info about it in readme.

Currently having the same issue, with the same game. It didn't install the game for me, though it marked the entry as installed.

I tried installing some other games using the client (both native and wine) and those seem to work.

(Tried both Polish and English installer of Gothic 2)

I am facing this issue but with all other games. After the latest update in wine to v:7.4 I am unable to completely install any game. After it finishes Downloads it show an error message Wine extraction failed

@thamudi could you try installing innoextract? That might fix the installations.
