"No such file or directory" error when launching game from shortcut
Hello,
I encountered the problem mentioned in the title after I tried to add a game installed with Minigalaxy on Lutris. Bad idea, since i think this somehow messed with the game. I unistalled Lutris, Minigalaxy and Wine, deleted all of their files from my home folder and reinstalled Minigalaxy. However the problem persists, as I still get this notification when launching a game from its shortcut:
Is there a way to completely erase minigalaxy, wine and their files (configs, cache, data etc.) and reinstall them so that my games could launch properly? Or is this a bug?
Software version: Fedora 34 Minigalaxy v. 1.0.2 Wine v. 6.11
Thank you,
Ok, so I reinstalled minigalaxy this morning. This time, rather than directly installing the game, I first opened winecfg in order to create the ./wine directory in my home folder. The game installed normally and the shortcut works fine. I believe this was the issue. Although I don't understand why it happened since wine should've created that folder when opening the game's installer (exe).
And it's back. There's also an issue with my GOG Games folder (the installation path). It looks like this:
Before it contained a wine prefix. I'm not sure what is wrong with Minigalaxy/wine
Thanks for the report. I would expect a wine prefix to be there. We'll look into it.
