[Feature Request] Listing available games
I'm not sure if this feature request should be asked because technically it would benefit GOG and they should definitely bring a native client on Linux to do this but it shouldn't be too difficult to add actually... ^^'
So it would be great to look up current deals for available games (so filtered for Linux natives as default should do fine) without going on the webpage. Maybe even filtered by singleplayer-only as long as multiplayer doesn't work. I looked up to find a possibility to query a list of games and GOG uses quite simple json. https://www.gog.com/games/ajax/filtered?feature=single&hide=dlc&mediaType=game&sort=popularity&system=lin_ubuntu,lin_mint,lin_ubuntu_18&page=1
I just see the benefit for people coming to Linux which could look up games to get from inside of this client. I would even recommend to display the library as default if this gets implemented since this client isn't commercial and shouldn't advertise anything if possible.
I'm by the way not asking to include the possibility to make transactions through this client or anything. Linking to the shop page of a game should do totally fine. ^^'
Thanks for the request. This is a feature which sounds pretty cool. It's hard to do well in terms of UI, but it should be doable. I'll look into this in the future, but for now there are some other things which have priority.
