This pull request updates the instructions for using bat as a MANPAGER.

Specifically,

  • It replaces col with sed (solution C in #2568).

  • And improves instructions for systems that use mandoc instead of man-db. #1145

This PR was sitting as a draft for a while and I was reminded of it by some of the more recent issues being opened about bat having issues acting as a manpager. I rebased to the latest master and am marking it as ready for review.
