I'm flipping back and forth between pages to connect sentences at the bottom of one page to the top of the next page, it's inconvenient to scroll down every time....

I'd like to sort search results by year, and I'd like to see the papers I'm reading ordered by most recent change.

When I'm trying to find certain papers I'd like to be able to run more searches from the search results page

I'd like to open a document at the same page I had open when I last closed the document.

convert to Servant from Scotty?

After the past six months writing Servant code, I suspect FLM would benefit hugely from switching to Servant, even though Scotty code is much easier to read.

make the functionality and narrative clear, explicitly list feature in the readme, and on the main page

first test needs to be "writePaper and readPaper" are inverses

Once the metadata retrieval is automated, it'll be easier to have authors as a list of Text instead of a single Text? Would certainly make searching easier.

move data to XDG dir instead of $HOME

FLM should be using https://hackage.haskell.org/package/directory-1.3.5.0/docs/System-Directory.html#v:getXdgDirectory instead of getHomeDirectory when deciding where to put user data.
