Prevents line breaks in tags with no content

I wrote this code (https://github.com/shanethehat/pretty-xml/pull/7) to solve this problem, but it was years ago.

As @shanethehat mentioned, no test coverage was provided, and it would be necessary to verify possible side effects of those changes.
