Image Caching only when internet is unavailable

In my project, I want to update the images remotely. So I'm wondering if there is a way that Davinci can check if the image in the given URL had changed and re-cache it when it is detected. Or a way to have it cache the image every time it's run and only use the cached version when the link is unreachable.
