The overlay/.exe GUI do not remember size/last known position on subsequent runs of lost ark logger.exe

Utilizing some kind of cache, both the overlay as well as the GUI of the .exe itself should remember the last known position/size/settings. Ideally the .exe GUI should also start minimized, but that's just my personal opinion.
