If it's just spec/dummy changes, I definitely don't think we need to wait until that.

Oh, sorry, I misunderstood. We can look into it.

Given it's abandoned (last actual release 5 years ago and last activity 3 years ago) I don't think we should use it directly, but it might be useful for ideas. But it should be a separate issue, not sure if here or in Shakapacker repo would be better, and the task should be removed.
