Property type of fastener hard to read
So I do not know the ISO / DIN numbers of the fasteners by heart, and the toolbar naming is helpful here:
The issue is though, if I want to change the type of screw / bolt later in the property panel, those are only listed as the ISO / DIN number:
I wonder if it would be technically possible to also have the same labeling in the property editor dropdown?
I mean, ideally those two dropdown menus would be identical, with icon and label, to make it easier to find what you are looking for - but I have not seen any other property selectors with icons, so I am not sure if the widget supports that. One could also maybe argue that the UX style of the property editor is to be pretty minimalistic data editor, which is fair, but more descriptive names would be helpful.
Well, I've got the tooltip for each fastener in the Parameters Dialog working, just need to work out the combobox in the PropertyEditor.
OK, looks like bad news on the PropertiesItem combobox, the App:PropertyEnumeration does not have a Tooltip function in the core code and I'm a little/quite a lot reticent to propose it as it's used in a significant number of areas of FreeCAD and as far as I know never been requested.
I believe there is no need to do it in the properties panel. It is rather limited with other types as well.
