The script `wal` might be located in your `~/.local/bin/`. If this directory isn't in your path, `wal` won't be recognized as a command. Take a look in that directory.

Try installing it via homebrew. I think the issue is in the 3.x version of oc and not M1 in particular. Homebrew ships with version 4.x. I am using it...

I could really see myself using this. However, the described behavior is disturbing. Hoping for a fix soon.
