clarify readme and contributing docs

For issue #2591
Adds short video walkthrough of project, updates to README.md and CONTRIBUTING.md to provide more information for new project users and contributors.

I don't think it's necessary to explain things like how to download Android SDK in our README.

Let's keep this PR open, in case anyone wants to learn the Android development from us...
