Exclude filters?

I have starred a couple of megathreads in /r/politics about the election of this year. They contain 200+ video links, some of which are several hours long live streams. I don't really want to download those, but the application helpfully grabs those (as I guess is intended).

Could we perhaps have a way of excluding stuff via filters? I pretty much want all content except for that, so... yeah. :slightly_smiling_face:

(I've temporarily solved this by just unstarring these posts, but that seems like a poor solution to something that could have a better one.)

I support this! Also will be nice to add file size filter to skip files > N mb

The negative Filter use case is something I'd like to support in the RMD rewrite. I will add this to the list.

As a very crude workaround for now just ban youtube ips in your firewall :) Helped me to avoid very large downloads and focus on images.
