Nuget package for Windows Phone can't be installed because of SilverlightToolkit for WP installation issue: Could not install package 'SilverlightToolkitWP 4.2011.12.14'. You are trying to install this package into a project that targets 'WindowsPhone,Version=v8.0', but the package does not contain any assembly references that are compatible with that framework. For more information, contact the package author.

This dll can be installed manually(tested). Or we can wait for SilverlightToolkit for WP team published nuget for WP8.

Well, I guess we need to find out when this is available. This could be an issue. I will find the owner and get a timeline

Should be possible now since SilverlightToolkit nuget for WP8 has been released.
