Add ability to detect when image input is empty

Currently it isn't possible to easily detect from the template when the image input in the spreadsheet is empty. The image variable is populated with the puzzle piece image instead of being empty.

It would be nice to detect this scenario so that a template can use a different image as the default image instead of the puzzle piece image.
