fix aqualinkd#78: PDA Init :- wait for next menu failed from ballle98

During boot on PDA-PSS6, the initial menu detection failed as reported by ballle98. This is a port from ballle98 patch to latest code base.

@sfeakes,

Any reason for not pull this into master branch? This is wrapped around a config option and does avoid that error message. Though with the latest code, that error message can be ignored.

This and a few other of your PR's failed testing against particular versions, I'm sorting through them figuring out why, will pull / modify / reject as appropiate.

The issue was reported on my fork so you have to use the following to reference the issue and see the original patch fix ballle98/aqualinkd#78 fix ballle98/aqualinkd#78

I am closing this MR as the latest code default to bypass the start up menu.
