VSP not changing- Send control command Queue did not empty, timeout

Tried to change the VSP speed today via the Web UI. The speed would not change. Only had logs set to Notice so did not capture detail. Restarting service seems to cleared something and it worked again. Although starting the service did seem to cause the pump to bounce and go in to priming mode for a bit.
Running 2.2.2a
