Fidelity calculation of logical resources

Open Naphann opened this issue 2 years ago • 0 comments

Problem with current capabilities Currently, QuISP can output the fidelity of a Bell pair via tomography application type but only if the Bell pair is a physical one. Although RuleSet protocol allows users to create almost any state, QuISP provides no way to get good output for later post-processing.

Propose easy solution

  • give measurement result output as a file. It could be in the form of a final error basis vector at the end of RuleSet execution for each connection
  • this would allow users to perform post-processing to calculate the fidelities of their application if they choose to do so.
  • better integration with QuISPR? So user can decide to parse the output via quispr.

Propose a harder solution but more user-friendly

  • Allow for tomography application request type to specify the stabilizer input/codeword.
  • This allows for users who want to perform simulations of distributing logical resources.
