input-remapper rewrites systems repeat key delay
if I press and hold a key, it clicks the key, then there is a delay and after delay the key start rapidly repeating.
My system is set up the way that the repeat delay is very short, but when I inject any macro this delay will increase to like 1s and my system set up is ignored.
Is there a way to configure it in some file or something, please?
btw. It would be great for future if it could be configure in config.json.
InputRemapper will not repeat any keys. Except you write a macro which explicitly repeats a key press.
All the repeat events are generated by the kernel. I guess you can set the repeat delay for each keyboard individually? Then you need to set the delay for the virtual keyboards which get created by InputRemapper.
Didn't know InputRemapper creates virtual keyboard. But I don't know how to set delay for the virtual keyboards, didn't find any guides.
how would you do that for a real device? It might work the same for a virtual one.
