Getting Confusing Feedback
I am currently trying to map a Logitech G600 the configuration has been easy enough (it not allowing me to first press all the buttons i want to map and then decide what to map them to feels janky, but understandeable, usually you dont have 14 extra buttons on a mouse)
whenever i click apply, i get the command line message "Group "Logitech Gaming Mouse G600" is currently mapped" and then all the keys behave like they normally do (buttons from 1,2,3 and so on, mousewheel left and right dont do anything, which is normal for them too)
then, through some weird playing around on my part (i don't really know what i did) the restore-defaults keymapping of the mouse changed as well (might have shut down the services roughly) so now i don't know whats happening.
It would be really nice if there was some form of feedback to test wether or not things actually worked (mapping On/off button, a make an input here and i show you what input you made and so on)
On-off button as in is currently injected and doesn't want to get overwritten(if that is the behavior) and is currently reset plus maybe prevent me from double-layer-mapping my keys so they stop working at all and some form of true reset (or is the injection permanent?)
Don't worry, I will soldier on and resolve my issues, but this has been about an hour of messing around with this software and so far the "user experience" is improvement worthy :D
PS: it also took me 20 minutesto figure out that KEY_NUMERICAL_1 was not in fact the num-1 key, for that i needed the KP1
