bluetooth page-turner commands cannot be reassigned
bluetooth page turner sends
multiple commands with a single button press, such as: "ABS MT POSITION X - + ABS MT POSITION Y + + Button TOUCH + Joystick-X Left + Joystick-Y Down". This output of the Bluetooth device cannot be re-assigned to a single command such as: KEY_PAGEDOWN
I recall seeing a resolution to an issue where a key continued sending the original output AND the remapped output, and it was resolved by first binding the key to 'disabled', then, in another entry, binding the key with the function you want it to actually output.
Question: does EVERY KEY output some string of commands like the example you provided?
You might consider using the command line program EVTEST to see what outputs are being recognized by your computer. Those outputs might help us figure out a way to resolve the issue of not being able to remap the keys on your device.
I have a Delux T9 gameboard and there is a 'Mode' key which swaps the WASD keys to the directional arrow keys, and that button is not able to be remapped. I presume it to be a firmware level function, which Input-Remapper does not have access to alter. If the suggestions do not help then you may have a device that this program might not be able to change key functions of. Let us know if this helps, if you have found another solution, or if there is still an issue.
