Severe slowdown on larger galleries

简略描述 / Describe the bug Galleries with a large number of images suffer from severe slowdown when looking at the thumbnails, often to less than 5 FPS. This is seemingly arbitrary, some galleries are slow while others don't suffer from it at all. For example, https://exhentai.org/g/1391961/d9999764df/ slows to about 2 FPS, while https://exhentai.org/g/1434664/68a2856374/ is at full speed. I have a high-end device so I don't think my phone's performance is the issue. I should also note that I have the 40 thumbnail rows perk enabled.

如何重现 / To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Load up a large gallery (e.g. https://exhentai.org/g/1391961/d9999764df/)
2. Page will start slowing down as more thumbnails load in
3. Slowdown stops once it goes into reader mode

预期行为 / Expected behavior No slowdown.
