OS Independent Viewers for Meshes and Skeletons

matplotlib is difficult to get working on OS X. vtk is pretty heavy. It would be great to add another lightweight browser based viewer.

check out vtkplotter as an option to lighten the "load" for plotting meshes.

it comes with k3d integration that produces a browser based opengl widget.
