Create Player Link not working

When I try to use Share > Create Player Link I see the window

Creating a share link... Please wait...

Nothing appears to happen. After a couple minutes the window simply closes/disappears Navigating to "Show player link" the window is empty of any recently created link

I tested with the default Little Red Riding Hood project and a coworker tried with one of our own.
