Could use the find surface function (line from front of towed vehicle facing forward) to detect walls. If this happens, stop updating towed vehicle position and drop towing vehicle's speed down almost all the way. Allow negative velocity so the vehicle can back up.

Hi sethduda, is there any news on this. Everyone on my server loves this mod but not of them can drive properly and they keep blowing up the towed vehicles ;)

Sorry, no new updates here. Been working on another mod (https://github.com/sethduda/AIC ).However, once I find some time, this issue is definitely the top of the list.
