Are there any plans to add PHP 8.2 support? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your comment @nsaliu!

I am definitely eager to get PHP 8.2 added. I will likely add this in version "2.1" so I can get through the major re-structure (and ensure everything is running smoothly after those changes).

I'll keep you posted once it's ready!

Good news, I decided to throw PHP 8.2 in the next release.

It's available for beta testing 😃 https://hub.docker.com/r/serversideup/php/tags?name=8.2&page=1&ordering=-name

One known oddity

php8.2-redis was removed from the package list because it could not be found in the Ondrej PHP repo: https://launchpad.net/%7Eondrej/+archive/ubuntu/php/+index?batch=75&direction=backwards&start=225

I am not sure if this is intentional to remove the package or if it simply has not been released for 8.2 yet?

What packages are installed

You can see all the packages that I am installing here: https://github.com/serversideup/docker-php/blob/dev/src/cli/php-version-packages/8.2.txt

Remember: PHP 8.2 is still considered "prerelease" by the PHP team

PHP 8.2 isn't officially released yet: Learn more here →
