excessive WARNINGS that "region" is not set.

Everytime I sync, I get the following:

Serverless: WARNING: This variable is not defined: region
Serverless: WARNING: This variable is not defined: region
Serverless: WARNING: This variable is not defined: region

However, the region variable is defined in the s-project--.json locally.
