CLI was failing silently when there is configuration issues

Description

I'm not sure if this is the correct repo as I'm confused if this is at the serverless level or the components-v1 level but:

The CLI was failing silently when there is configuration issues

Running serverless or components-v1 just failed with no output

Additional Data

I tried with the latest serverless version and 2.72.2 according to advice here: https://github.com/serverless-nextjs/serverless-next.js/issues/2320#issuecomment-1023668772

Both versions just failed silently which was very confusing
