Modular backup is the right solution in my opinion. An user can building a tailored backup according with its needs. 
I misunderstood. I meant that the moment the gate is closed you don’t receive messages. You receive them when you reactivate it.
Also I had this issue. But unfortunately I cannot took a screenshot because I had set "screen protection". Currently I have no contacts. So it is very strange.
